EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Explain the origin of CAD/CAM dentistry and how this technology is used in restorative procedures.
  2. List the advantages of digital impressions in clinical practice.
  3. Discuss potential uses for these forms of digital dentistry, and the percentage of U.S. practices that use CAD/CAM systems.
  4. Describe the benefits of implementing CAD/CAM technology into practice.
