  1. Discuss applications for point-of-care technology in dental settings, and identify the primary salivary biomarkers associated with periodontal disease, caries and oral cancer.
  2. Explain the role of biomarkers in the pathogenesis of periodontal disease.
  3. Describe how salivary testing has advanced the understanding and treatment of COVID-19.
