After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Describe three implant treatment modalities for the oral rehabilitation of edentulous patients.
  2. Explain clinical considerations when planning implant therapy for this patient population.
  3. List the advantages of each treatment approach, and the differences between implant-assisted and implant-supported restorations.
