As part of the dental implant process, these restorative strategies will help eliminate complications and peri-implant disease.

After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Identify key steps in the dental implant process in regard to risk management, planning, placement and restoration.
  2. List clinical considerations to prevent or manage complications in implant dentistry.
  3. Describe modern choices in dental implant systems and the differences between screw-retained and cement-retained restorations.
