Educational Objectives
After reading this course, the participant should be able to:
- Identify the clinical and radiographic characteristics of retrograde peri-implantitis (RPI) and understand its potential etiological factors.
- Discuss treatment options for RPI based on the clinical and radiographic presentation.
- Assess the potential role of recombinant human platelet derived growth factor (rh-PDGF) in combination with bone allograft materials for the treatment of RPI.
