Kaprea F. Johnson, NCC, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Department of Counseling and Human Services, College of Education at ODU. She is an expert quantitative methodologist interested in interprofessional collaboration and education among behavioral health and allied health professionals. Johnson’s published research focuses on allied health professionals’ perceptions of counselors and the use of technology in interprofessional education.
Adopting a patient-centered approach will help dental professionals improve both oral and systemic health outcomes for patients with Alzheimer’s disease.
