EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Explain the concept of the age 1 dental visit and establishing a dental home, as well as key components of the pediatric visit.
  2. Describe methods to engage patients and parent/caregivers to establish oral health goals.
  3. List preventive and caries management approaches that are appropriate to this patient population.
