EDUCATIONAL OBJECTIVES
After reading this course, the participant should be able to:

  1. Describe the prevalence of traumatic dental injuries (TDIs).
  2. Identify the epidemiology and etiology of TDIs.
  3. Discuss the first aid needed when treating pediatric dental trauma.
  4. List strategies for preventing and caring for these injuries.
