P. Mark Bartold, DDSc, PhD, is a professor of periodontics and director of the Colgate Australian Clinical Dental Research Centre at the University of Adelaide in Australia. He is a fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons in the Special Stream of Periodontics, and also a fellow of the Academy of Dentistry International, International College of Dentists and the Pierre Fauchard Academy.
