The material features a simplified shading process and advanced composite technology to provide strong and highly esthetic results. The NaturalMatch technology simplifies the overall shade selection process by offering eight designer shades (including extra white) that cover the 19 VITA classical and bleach shades, according to the company. All shades have a universal opacity, and 3M’s pink opaquer is designed to mask metal and stained dentition. Filtek Universal Restorative also features capsules that can be warmed, plus an improved 8-mm tip that allows the material to extrude like a flowable composite.
IMAGING PLATE SCANNER LAUNCHED

This compact imaging plate scanner utilizes radio frequency identification technology for fast scanning and identification purposes, and its smart imaging plates can be used multiple times. The ProScanner 2.0’s flexible plates are said to be comfortable for patients and are available in sizes 0, 1 and 2. In addition, each plate is equipped with a digital serial number for management and tracking purposes.
