Advocates for the dental benefit also explored opportunities to further its adoption. In her keynote address, US Rep. Donna Shalala (D-FL) said she believes the 2020 Surgeon General’s Report on Oral Health, will be an effective tool for building a public consensus around the need to integrate oral health benefits in Medicare, according to the American Dental Education Association (ADEA).
