Artizan® Expressions Dental Cabinetry awarded 2015 GOOD DESIGN™ Award
DAYTON, Ohio, Feb. 5, 2016 — Midmark Corporation is pleased to announce that its Artizan® Expressions Dental Cabinetry line has been awarded a 2015 GOOD DESIGN™ Award for design excellence by the Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design and the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies.
The GOOD DESIGN award, founded in 1950, is an annual award program that recognizes design excellence worldwide. The Museum received submissions from several thousand of the world’s leading manufacturers as well as industrial and graphic design firms, representing a critical mass of influential corporations from more than 47 countries.
Collaborating with Karten Design, a Los Angeles-based product design and innovation consultancy, the Midmark development team redesigned its former Artizan® Dental Furniture to bring a unique, modern look to the dental space. The new Artizan Expressions line of dental cabinetry creates an inviting and positive experience for both patients and staff, providing the ideal balance of expressive design and function. The cabinetry offers maximum design flexibility by allowing customers to combine several cabinet and resin panels, countertop materials and upholstery colors to create a look that is distinctively their own.
